This site comprises of 4 no. mixed use RC framed blocks ranging from 6- to 12-storeys in height with traditional brick cladding. One of the blocks includes a basement up to 9m deep to house a District Energy Centre fitted out by Haringey Council. The 1-hectare site is part of a multi-phase re-development of an industrial area and gas works owned and operated by National Grid. This phase is positioned over two existing gas holder structures. These existing structures are circa 11m deep and 35 to 55m in diameter. Significant earth movement and associated cut and fill sequencing was required to infill the gas holders without importing or exporting site won material.

The blocks are positioned adjacent to a subterranean masonry culvert which contains the Moselle Brook. This is classified as a main river, so involvement with the EA was required to seek the necessary approvals.
