The original mansion, built in the mid 1800’s, was destroyed by fire and the last remaining structure is this Grade 2 listed part of the original extravagant Italianate Palazzo structure.

PTA was commissioned to justify the stability of the tower as a free standing item after its buttresses were removed as part of the proposed hotel and leisure development.
