The new Morrison’s supermarket in Chelmsford is now open and operational. Located in Regiment Business Park, the 25,000 sqft store includes a 154 space car park along with associated external works and landscaping.
Built on a former gravel quarry, the design involved various challenges including ground improvement beneath the food store, sheet piled retaining walls along the boundaries and a complex drainage strategy requiring close coordination with the Environment Agency.
